For those interested in treatment please go to Membership List where you will be able to find a member in, or near to, your region. If you are an acupuncturist that has developed, or would like to develop, an interest in the areas of fertility and gynaecology you can join our group. To be eligible you must have completed a 3-year course of study, either a Lic.Ac MBAcC, or a BA Hons Lic.Ac MBAcC and be a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC). Membership to the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN) indicates a special interest in the treatment of fertility with traditional acupuncture and presumes a commitment to ongoing study. It also is on the basis of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), through an undertaking of post graduate study in the fields of gynaecology and fertility. Members are required to attended post graduate courses in these fields and pay an annual subscription of £40. To become a member simple print off the membership form and fill in all your details and return the completed form with your £40 cheque (please no cash) in the post to the AFN Co-ordinator: Helen Newton Please be aware that all the administration for the AFN is done on a voluntary basis so things tend to take longer than professional organisations. AFN will undertake to support courses for studies of fertility treatment each year in order to provide opportunity for membership. Any other traditional acupuncture post graduate course of study in these fields would be acceptable. The 2007 course has been organised by Jani White through Naturechild and is to be held in July 15-17th in London at the Royal College of Physicians.
